Enjoy Breakfast While Supporting a Cause at Kiwanis Pancake Festival
Here’s the deal: if you want a delicious breakfast and a chance to do something awesome for your community, you need to check out the Kiwanis 69th Annual Pancake Festival.
It's happening Saturday, January 25, at the JS Bridwell Ag Center, and it runs all day—from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. That’s twelve whole hours of pancake goodness!
Making a Difference in Wichita Falls
This festival isn’t just about stuffing your face (though that’s definitely a perk). The money raised goes toward helping tons of local programs that make a big difference.
Ever heard of the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank? They help feed families in need. Or what about the Children’s Miracle Network? They support kids and their medical needs. Then there’s the Wichita County Junior Livestock Show, scholarships for students, playgrounds for kiddos to enjoy, and so much more. Basically, every pancake you eat helps make Wichita Falls a better place.
Several Ways to Purchase Tickets
Now, how do you get in on this? Tickets are super easy to grab. You can swing by any United Supermarket in Wichita Falls, Burkburnett, or Iowa Park to pick one up. Not feeling like a trip to the store? No problem—you can get them online too.
Sign Up to Volunteer
And here’s something even cooler: if you want to do more than just eat pancakes, you can sign up to volunteer at the festival. Or, if you're feeling extra inspired, you can join Kiwanis and be part of the team that makes all this good stuff happen. Head to their website for all the details. Don’t miss it!
