Dave Navarro Talks PETA Photo Shoot [VIDEO]

Dave Navarro has released a behind-the-scenes video about his PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) photo shoot. In the video, the guitarist for Jane's Addiction encourages viewers to research their cosmetics before purchasing, and suggests cruelty-free products. In the clip, you see a naked Navarro posing with “blood” on his body to depict what animals go through during the testing process.

He opens up about how he found out about cosmetics testing on animals, and how some companies abuse animals in the quest for beauty. This isn’t Navarro’s first PETA ad, as he’s participated in anti-fur campaigns.
