If you’re a fan of zombies, this might just be the imaging campaign for you. AMC, the studio behind the series “The Walking Dead,” wondered what would happen if there were zombies walking amongst us. What better place to answer that question then New York City.

Using the expertise of Sue Lee, a prosthetic make-up artists, people from all walks of life were transformed into the undead. They can be seen in this video as postal workers, hot dog vendors, and ambulance workers.

I think I’d have a hard time taking a hot dog from a guy who had flesh hanging off his face. That’s just nasty.

The fun part is seeing people’s reactions to the undead as they roam the streets. While some take pictures, others run as though they really think the Zombie Apocalypse has arrived. Are some people still convinced that’s actually going to happen?

At the end, a message says that says, “Zombies don’t belong here,” and “Put them back on TV.” I couldn’t agree more. "The Walking Dead" returns on October 14th, and until then we’ll just have to make do with the zombified remains of New Yorkers. Anyone up for a zombie pub crawl here in Wichita Falls?
