You thought NFL players were moving around to different teams. Will Ferrell had a busy day yesterday and is actually a very versatile player.

I know most of my listeners are Texas Rangers fans and sadly Will Ferrell did not play for them during this epic day of spring training games. Hey I am an Orioles fan so he didn't play for my team either.

The day started out with Will playing shortstop for the Oakland Athletics. No balls were hit to his direction during his inning. Good job Will, your intimidation worked.

In the same game, Will Ferrell was traded to the opposing team, the Seattle Mariners. This time he went to second base, again no balls hit his way.

Will Ferrell would finally get his first chance at fielding. Playing center field for the Los Angeles Angels. The crowd goes nuts for the simplest grab that you could have in baseball.

If you were waiting for some of Will Ferrell's comedy, here would be the first sight of it. Acting as third base coach for the Chicago Cubs. He actually had some pretty awesome signs for the players to help them out.

Now it was time for Ferrell to play some actual baseball. While playing left field for the Diamondbacks he had three balls hit into his direction. This was probably Will's first workout of the day.

Will would play third base for the Cincinnati Reds, but unfortunately have no photos for this one.

The next game Will would play DH for the Chicago White Sox, but what everyone is talking about is how he showed up to the game. Landing a helicopter onto the field. Didn't Michael Jordan do that in 'Space Jam'? Wait, that was a spaceship, never mind.

Now it was time for Will to play the position I never wanted to play in baseball, the catcher. Granted it was just an intentional walk, so I probably could have done that one.

Time to test out that arm. Will was the pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers. The hitter came in and bunted, Will fielded the ball perfectly. After that he was pulled keeping his 0.00 career ERA intact.

Now the final position of the night, right field for the San Diego Padres. A home run did fly over his head in this one. Also Ferrell has been wearing 19 at every other game except this one. He wore number 20 because 19 was Tony Gwynn's number.

If you're wondering why Will Ferrell did all this he was raising money for charity and it's estimated he raised one million dollars yesterday. In camp as part of a new HBO special from Funny Or Die in partnership with Major League Baseball to support the fight against cancer. Well Will looks like you had one hell of a day. I imagine he slept good last night.
