UPDATE | 6/13/13- 9:20pm: Detectives believe the suspect in the shooting may be a black male named "Trey" or uses the street name of "Trey". Detectives also believe the suspect may have last been in the Maurine Street Hotel/Motel district in the red two (2) Mitsubishi Eclipse prior to the shooting.

Wichita Falls Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 2100 11th Street (Bridwell Park) shortly after 5:30 P.M. today. The 20 year old male victim was transported to United Regional Health Care Emergency Room by AMR Ambulance for a single gun shot wound. Criminal Investigations Section and Crime Scene Technicians have been called to the scene.

Preliminary Investigation indicates that the suspect in the shooting is a black male, in his early 20’s, approximately 170 to 175 pounds, approximately 5’10” to 5’11” in height wearing grey shorts, black and purple shoes.

A second suspect is believed to a white or Hispanic male unknown description.

Both suspects fled the scene in a red 2 door Mitsubishi Eclipse last seen traveling north on Harrison Street.
