Hey Austrailia, you can stop being weird now.

This just sounds like a stomach ache waiting to happen. Robe Town Brewery, for some reason, is making a whale vomit beer. Whale vomit is hard to come by, it only surfaces after a whale has died. When found, it can fetch a pretty penny.

Some whale vomit has sold for as high sixty-three thousand dollars. Apparently, it's used in high-quality perfumes. They use it to enhance scents and give them staying power. Someone at the brewery wonder if it could enhance the flavors of beer. Maris Biezaitis, one of the brewers, stumbled upon some whale vomit and decided to test out this theory.

The brewery gives us Moby Dick Ambergris Ale. Ambergris is the fancy name for whale vomit. The reviews have been mixed on the brew. "It tastes a little bit like the sea, it tastes a little bit like marine animals. It's really interesting I think," co-brewer Kristi Biezaitis admitted.

Others describe it as “surprisingly sweet” but some tasters were reportedly disgusted. I would be willing to try it, but I have to imagine this beer is incredibly expensive. Especially if they wanted to ship it to America.
