What started out as a documentary showcasing Lamb of God's international fan base, As the Palaces Burn ends up chronicling the events surrounding frontman Randy Blythe's arrest on manslaughter charges in the Czech Republic.

Just like filmmaker Don Argott's original intentions, the trailer starts off as a celebration of a band that has made it to a level of success achieved by only a handful of metal bands and then quickly takes a dramatic turn for the worst when Blythe is arrested in Prague. In fact, Argott catches a perfect moment in which the frontman states, " It's crazy, I get to fly around the world and get paid to scream. I feel like they're gonna find out. I don't know who they are or what they're gonna find out, but they're gonna find out and it's all gonna be over." Crazy how a simple 'I can't believe this is happening to me' statement turned out to be prophetic as I know a lot of us were wondering if Blythe would be locked up and Lamb of God would, in fact, be over. Luckily that was not the case and while we know how the story ends, it should nothing less than compelling to watch how events play out through the eyes of the band.

As the Palaces Burn will premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam between November 20 and December 1 and will be released in theaters and on home video next year.
