Watch the Robot Version of Voivod in the New Video for ‘Target Earth’

Voivod went the 3D motion route with the new video for the title track to their latest album, Target Earth.

In the video, the band appear as robots jamming while another robot plots the inevitable destruction of Planet Earth just as the title of the song suggests. I've always been vocal about my appreciation of videos that go the extra mile and I absolutely love videos that feature intricate graphics and 'Target Earth' is a clip worth sitting down with a couple of times to let it all soak in.

Song-wise 'Target Earth' is vintage Voivod - dissonant, progressive and just damn weird. My guess is that old school Voivod fans aren't too worried about the future and what it holds here in the post-Piggy era.
