Watch Enslaved Do Led Zeppelin’s ‘Immigrant Song’

Just when you thought Enslaved couldn't get any cooler, they go and cover Led Zeppelin on Norwegian T.V. And I am not even kiddin' when I tell you this band is ruling my stereo in so many different ways these days it ain't even funny.

The band's new album RIITIIR is a welcome breath of fresh air to these ears with a damn near perfect mix of black metal and alternative that works in a way I could have never imagined. The best way I can describe the new disc is "Black Metal Faith No More" or something along those lines - these guys think way beyond the scope of what is traditional black metal and in the end it serves them well and elevates the band above the pack.

I've said it before but I'll say it again, I only recently "got" this band for whatever reason. But I'm glad I did because at this point I'm ready to sink my teeth into their back catalog.
