Courtney Love recently stole the show during a recent private party in Los Angeles, delivering a killer rendition of the Radiohead favorite "Creep." Love was on hand at a bash Tuesday night (Jan. 5) in Los Angeles meant to celebrate the song "Hands of Love," penned by Linda Perry and sung by Miley Cyrus for the film Freeheld. Perry, who has frequently collaborated with Love, invited the singer as well as numerous other celebs to the party and a number of them took to the stage to perform.

According to Yahoo, Love joked prior to her performance that she felt like she was going on American Idol, but it was no laughing matter when Love delivered a raw performance perfectly capturing her lower register and the emotion she was clearly feeling as she put her stamp on the track. Love's daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, was in the audience during the performance and she later tweeted, "I got to watch my mom be the badass she is & destroy 'Creep' by Radiohead. Love you Kooksmcgee." The tweet also encapsulated one of Courtney's Instagram posts showing mother and daughter with Love stating, "I'm so blessed to be the mother of the world's most incredible daughter. Kurt this is thinking of you dude." Check out the postings below:

In addition to Love, the night featured performances from Christina Aguilera, the Cult's Ian Astbury, Juliette Lewis and Perry herself. Guests at the party included Jimmy Kimmel, Tobey Maguire, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Jodie Foster, Aisha Tyler, Jakob Dylan, Michael Des Barres and Sara Gilbert.
