If you paid money for one of these things, I am already judging you.

The selfie stick, was somehow one of the hottest holiday items this past year. I have no desire to get that extra five feet on a selfie. Have I taken a selfie before? Yeah, as a guy I probably shouldn't, but it happens. We like it when the ladies take selfies here at the Buzz.

Well a lot of music festivals across the pond will not allow this little invention. The SSE Wembley Arena, London’s O2 Arena and the Brixton Academy have all banned the device. This is probably desperately horrible news for gig goers who own a selfie stick and were looking to capture a special moment from above.

A spokesperson for the O2 Arena says, taking a selfie is not the problem… "We welcome selfies, but please leave the stick at home." The Academy Music Group, who own the Brixton Academy elaborated a touch further saying "Selfie Sticks are not permitted at Academy Music Group venues. This is in keeping with our existing policy that prohibits the filming and photography during a performance with iPads and other tablet devices and includes any such obstructions for the satisfaction of other customers."

So leave the selfie sticks at home people. In fact, I hope all of the sticks in the world break in half.
