Twisted Sister Rocked the Main Stage at Rocklahoma 2014 [PHOTOS]

Saturday night the one and only Dee Snider and Twisted Sister took to the Main Stage for an unforgettable performance! It’s been the talk of Rocklahoma ever since “Did you catch Twisted Sister, Holy S#!t that was AWESOME!”

I’ve only seen the band in action a hand full of times in the past and can honestly say they’re not letting up and are as good, if not better than they’ve ever been! I had the chance as a kid to see them in their prime, but after last night’s show I don’t think Twisted Sister have yet hit their prime. Damn it was incredible!

It amazes me at the young age of 59 that Dee Snider has the loads of energy and stage presence he does. They certainly raised the bar for all the other bands to follow. The entire band ran the stage and didn’t let off the gas until they said goodnight!

Of course they played a full set of everyone’s favorites and even covered a little Motorhead as well. Sadly Motorhead had to sit this one out. They were originally scheduled to be at this year’s Rocklahoma but due to front-man / bassist lemmy kilmister’s health had to cancel. So Dee played some Head and dedicated it to Lemmy, he even shot some video of the band and crowd to send to him. We all wish Lemmy and Motorhead the very best and we’ll hopefully he seeing them back on the road soon.
