Turn a Five Pound Gummy Bear into an Exploding Fireball [VIDEO]

I really should have paid more attention in science class.

Chemistry is a beautiful thing and an ugly thing if you are talking about meth. This however is super cool because for some reason if you drop a small gummy bear into boiling potassium chlorite it explodes like a firecracker. Which alone is pretty amazing, but these guys decided to go big or go home.

They decided to drop a five pound gummy bear into a bigger jar to see what would happen. The results are amazing to say the least. It looks like the jar they were using couldn’t keep up and started melting.
