Traffic Stop on 287 Results in Money Laundering and Marijuana Charges

At around 4:18pm on Wednesday, December 7, a traffic stop was made by a Wichita County Highway Interdiction Deputy at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Business 287.

Upon searching the vehicle, four grams of marijuana and $29,571.00 in currency was seized.

The driver, a 20-year-old male, and two 20-year-old passengers were arrested and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.

All three were charged with Money Laundering over $2,500.00 under $30,000.00 and Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.
