Wicked Andy’s Twisted & Insane Hayride
This ghoulish night out starts in Charlie, Texas, about 18 miles from Wichita Falls. For $18, you get a hamburger meal and access to a giant outdoor big screen theater while you wait for your turn. Once you start your journey, you’ll be twisted and turned through different buildings, encountering spooks, goblins, and monsters along the way. The effects you’ll see while going through this labyrinth are the same that you see on Hollywood movie screens, so you know you’re in for a fright. Kell House Museum Haunted Tour
The Kell House has a rich history, but on October 27th things get spooky. At just $5 per person, you’ll get a tour of the house and hear ghost stories. The tour does involve some history about the house itself, but the focus on this night is about haunted stories and eerie tales. It’s an event that’s great for all ages! Wichita Falls Zombie Crawl and 5K
The Wichita Falls Zombie Crawl and 5K is a tradition that nobody should miss. The event kicks off downtown at around 7:15 on October 27th, and it may just be the death of you. If you’re interested in the 5K, the cost is only $25, whereas the crawl is free. Other activities at the Zombie Crawl include an art contest and a rib eating contest. Sunrise Optimist Club “Carnival Horror” Haunted House
You don’t need a lot of cash to enjoy this carnival of horrors between October 26th – 31st. The cost is $6 per person, and you’ll experience everything from the creepy to the horrifying as you twist and turn through a maze of the macabre. Boys and Girls Club of Wichita Falls – The Chamber of Horrors
It’s the 34th year of the Chamber of Horrors, and once again young and old alike will be delighted and frightened all at the same time. Taking place October 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th , and 31st, the doors are open from 7:30 – 11:00 nightly, though the hours will likely be earlier on Halloween night.
