How in the hell are you going to enforce this?

A theme park in the United Kingdom put up a very interesting sign in front of their brand new roller coaster called The Big One. The Big Sheep Amusement Park in Bideford have urged patrons not to shout or scream on the ride. What?! It's a roller coaster, that's what you do.

The Daily Star reports that the sign is a result of a five-year planning permission battle with local residents who claimed the new rollercoaster would be "intrusive". Are people really living that close to the theme park? Who designed a theme park next to residential neighborhood? I honestly don't know how close it is, if they have to put up a sign, has to be pretty close.

Here's the problem I have. "This is a family ride – not a white knuckle thrill ride." Fine, sounds like a roller coaster the kids would enjoy. Maybe not too much screaming. Later, they call it, the "biggest, highest and fastest" roller coaster North Devon has ever seen has now become a reality and it's at The BIG Sheep Family Attraction!"

So is it a family ride or the biggest highest and fastest roller coaster? Those are contradictory statements. I see no possible way of enforcing this rule. Would I get kicked out of a theme park for screaming on a roller coaster? Honestly, why put up the sign? Putting up a sign telling me not to scream, makes me want to scream.
