For the year-end edition of The Oath I counted down my Top 30 metal albums of 2011 and recapped some of the interviews I did over the course of the year.

It was a personal list but I based it on the amount of plays during the show and at home on iTunes (I did account for the fact that a tune from January will get more spins than one that debuted in December). So in the end it was based on data as well as my personal opinion.

Here's to another good year of metal!
