The Future Is Now – Mircea Eftemie of Mnemic Takes the Oath [AUDIO]

Mnemic have been turning heads since their debut album Mechanical Spin Phenomena first hit the streets, garnering attention from the likes of Metallica, Machine Head and a ton of other heavy-hitters in the metal scene and guitarist Mircea Eftemie was kind enough to call the BuzzLine for the July 7 edition of The Oath.

The new album Mnemesis (out now on Nuclear Blast Records) isn't a departure from the sound that Mnemic fans have come to expect from the band, but an expansion of their groove-laden, melodic and catchy-as-hell "Future Fusion Metal" (not sure if Mircea would call it that, but what the hell).

As is to be expected, Mircea is an absolute professional and full of info regarding the health of bassist Simone Bertozzi, the artists that influenced the band and of course the new album. Enjoy the interview in it's unedited entirety below.
