The Dead Daisies ‘Washington’ – Crank It or Yank It

Today's 'Crank It or Yank It' features the retro sounds of the Dead Daisies and their new single 'Washington'.

The Dead Daisies have garnered a lot of attention as of late, most notably for their collaboration with Slash on 'Lock n' Load'. The band itself features a bunch of veterans with former INXS and Noiseworks singer Jon Stevens and the recently revamped touring lineup consisting of Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus of Guns n' Roses, Marco Mendoza of Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake and Nine Inch Nails drummer Alex Carapetis.

With a pedigree like that, one would expect the band to lean towards the rock of the 70's and 80's and one would be right in that assumption.
