If my grandfather was a cop, he would insist on this being his car.

A cop car in New Braunfels is turning heads for local residents. The Corvette was seized in a drug raid back in 2015 and it now has some lovely new decals on it. The car has been nicknamed 'Coptimus Prime'. Local residents don't have to worry about seeing this in their rear view mirror.

The department only uses Coptimus Prime during community events, like parades and school trips. The department doesn't plan on keeping the Corvette much longer. They plan on auctioning it off. The money from that auction will be used to further other community outreach programs. You will be missed Coptimus Prime.
