Texas Man Reunited With His Dog After Devastating Tornado

With everything that went on in Van, Texas last week, this man thought he lost his four legged friend forever.

Yesterday in Wichita Falls, we had a little bit of a Tornado scare. That was actually the first time in my life I have heard that siren go off when it wasn't that monthly drill. I was up here covering it on air for all the stations trying to keep people updated. Luckily it didn't do what it did in Van.

This poor family was hit by the Tornado in their truck as they were trying to flee. They had to rush to the hospital even though their dog was lost in the mayhem. Days later they came back and wouldn't you know it. Their loyal pooch was right there waiting for them. That dog is truly that man's best friend.
