This could have ended really bad, but it actually had a happy ending.

Eight inmates were in a holding cell on the bottom floor of District Courts Building in Weatherford. They were waiting to go upstairs for court. An officer, whose identity has not been revealed, was watching the inmates in a nearby chair, when all of a sudden he collapsed.

The inmates tried to yell for help, but no one was coming. The inmates were able to force the cell door open to go find some help to save this man's life. Seriously, this guy was dying and they could have made an escape. They could have grabbed his keys, his gun and gotten the hell out of there.

They did the right thing, went and got some help. The officer was thankfully able to get resuscitated back to life. After this incident, that cell door has been reinforced to make sure inmates can't get out again.
