Texas Father Wears Tie to Son’s Graduation That He Made in the First Grade
People were probably giving him strange looks on his attire, but this dad was proud of his son.
Dylan Olivo recently graduated from high school over in Austin. He was shocked when his dad showed up the ceremony with this weird Pokemon tie on. Then he remembered, he made this tie for his dad in the first grade. Eleven years later, his father busted it out for the graduation.
Dylan doesn't recall his father wearing the tie any other time. Maybe he was saving it just for this day as a little dad embarrassment on graduation day. In an interview, Dylan said he still remembers making his Dad that tie and it was a nice surprise on graduation day.
I got to admit, for a first grader that is a pretty good drawing of Pikachu. Dads like this are what we're looking for our contest. Click the button below to sign up for Texoma's Fashion Dad.
