Wait a minute, a World Cup type championship exists for real football? Why am I just finding out about this now?

Seems like every sport has a competition where they're recognized on a global scale as a country. Hockey and basketball have the Olympics. Baseball has the World Baseball Classic and soccer has the World Cup. Why does football not have something? Turns out they do and yes, America is amazing at it.

They dominated the competition, in the final game by scoring a touchdown on their first twelve drives. That's some offensive efficiency. Now, with this competition, unlike the others. No professional players were playing in the game. No one from the NFL or CFL was there, it was all recent college graduates. Maybe if this catches on, the NFL players can play if they want to.

The game was part of the IFAF (International Federation of American Football) World Championship, being held in Canton, Ohio. Check out all the details from the games and see how much the USA team dominated the competition. I hope this becomes a bigger thing because I didn't even know it was going on. I would much rather watch a football world championship than a soccer one.
