Patricia Krentcil, known now as “Tanorexic Mom,” has gotten a lot of attention in the media in the past couple of weeks. She’s accused of taking her daughter into a tanning booth, which led to the 5-year-old getting a sunburn. She has denied the charges.

Since her image became splashed across the nation, she’s been mocked on SNL and Snooki from the Jersey Shore has even spoken out about how she’s too tanned. Now Krentcil has a new reason to be in the news. A company has made a tanorexic action figure based upon her.

HeroBuilders.com will let you build your own model, or they have their own for purchase, which sells for $29.95. While you’re there, you can get political action figures, plush dolls, and even candy dispensers with your likeness.

The tanorexic doll isn’t nearly as scary as the real thing, but it would make a unique gift for the hard-to-buy-for person on your list. Unfortunately, I don’t think the value of this doll will go up over time.

Would you buy one of these dolls?
