This is honestly, bulls***. Imagine you're a fan of whoever and not being able to support your team. As a fan that has to support his baseball team on the road, I am honestly offended by this.

I thought this was just a late April Fool's joke, but nope it's real. If you're a fan of anyone other than the Tampa Bay Lightning, you will not be allowed in certain sections. So if the Stars were playing in this series, I would not be allowed into the section wearing my Jamie Benn jersey.

“We want to let our season ticket members drive what happens in those clubs,” Bill Wickett Lightning V.P. of communications said. “They like those clubs to remain for Lightning fans.” If I am going to pay money for a ticket I should be able to wear whatever I damn well please. I don't care if a season ticket holder is offended by some color other than blue.

If you don't want opposing fans in your section Tampa Bay Lightening fans, buy a private box. If you can't afford a box, sit at home and watch the game. You're obviously a terrible person and should not be allowed in public. If a fan wearing a jersey other than Lightening drives you up a wall, you may want to reconsider your priorities in life.

I now want to go to the Lightning vs Stars game next year and heckle the crap out of all those fans. Hey, at least they would be allowed in American Airlines Center and not forced to watch at home. I seriously feel bad for the opposing fan of whoever plays the Lightning in the playoffs.
