You know those grooves on the side of the road that are there to alert you when you're drifting off the road? Turns out, engineers are able to make 'em produce different sounds by varying the spacing on the templates that are used to make the grooves.

So, instead of that loud annoying sound that you usually hear when you're dangerously close to the edge of the highway, motorists are rewarded with an impressive asphalt version of "America the Beautiful".
