As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis has been sentenced to six years in prison for attempting to hire a hitman to murder his estranged wife. The sentence was handed down earlier today (May 16) by Judge Carlos Armour of the San Diego Superior Court.
The murder-for-hire trial concerning As I Lay Dying's Tim Lambesis will move forward. According to San Diego's News 10, Lambesis will be arraigned on Oct. 22 at which point a trial date will be set.
As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis entered a "not guilty" plea to one count of solicitation of murder at his arraignment Thursday (May 9) in San Diego. The singer is on trial for an alleged murder-for-hire plot to kill his estranged wife Meggan. Bail at the arraignment was set for $3 million.
