Although Scott Weiland isn't happy with the recent announcement that he was fired from Stone Temple Pilots, he hoping there will be a reconciliation in the future. In a new interview with the Youngstown News' Vindicator, Weiland says that he feels his ousting was a "reactionary" decision and doesn't feel the door has closed on his time with the band.

Founding member and vocalist Scott Weiland was officially fired from the group, much to his surprise, leaving the DeLeo brothers and drummer Eric Kretz without a singer. However, in a new interview with TMZ, Weiland is insisting that he is still a member of Stone Temple Pilots, and that his firing was a publicity stunt to bring attention to the act.

Scott Weiland is now weighing in with his own official response to today's news that he has been fired from Stone Temple Pilots. The vocalist stated as recently as yesterday that all was still good with his longtime band, telling Rolling Stone, "STP has not broken up. I haven't quit. I haven't been fired." He even added that they were talking about when they wanted to tour again.

There was an original version filmed in summer 2010, but the band wasn’t feeling the result so the video was scrapped and it was reshot in late 2010 with new director.
