In case you missed out Saturday night or hell, you just wanna listen again here's the latest edition of my "Brutal News". In this edition, I update you on the new metal exhibition at the Grammy Museum, the Decibel Tour having to move venues due to the owner's religious beliefs and I fill you in on an unreleased Skeletonwitch track.
I love unreleased tracks - they're kinda like an encore to me. Forever Abomination has been out for a while now and it's definitely had it's fair share of spins in my stereo so it's nice to hear something from the sessions for the first time.
Skeletonwitch has a firm foothold as one of the top bands in the American metal scene right now with their recent appearance on the cover of Decibel Magazine and the excellent reviews they're getting for their new album Forever Abomination and I had the chance to get guitarist Scott Hedrick's thoughts on the new album, the band being inaccurately grouped in with the American "Re-Thrash" scene and their recent tour with Kvelertak when he called in for the November 12 edition of The Mighty Oath. Check out our conversation after the jump.
Well better late than never I guess but due to some problems with the site (or maybe me?) I wasn't able to get this finished last night so here ya go.
I often profess my love for Skeletonwitch so it should come as no surprise that their new album Forever Abomination makes the "Metal Pick" list.
