After more than a month of incarceration, Randy Blythe was released from a Czech prison on Thursday (Aug. 2), according to the Czech news site Blesk.cz. The Lamb of God frontman is reported to have boarded a flight at 1PM Czech time today (Aug. 3), and is expected to arrive in New York this afternoon.
In what is a case of supreme irony, Machine Head's new video for "Darkness Within" deals with some pretty heavy subject matter like torture, drug addiction, etc. and was filmed in Prague but it's highly unlikely they were able to do it in the few weeks since Randy Blythe was incarcerated there.
