Texas-based restaurant chain bans open carry of handguns at its locations

A last minute change to the Texas House bill for Open Carry before its final passage has police officers feeling disturbed.

The new Texas legislature will be looking into several new gun laws in the new year, including one that ends the ban on the open carry of handguns.

Being an avid firearm enthusiast I find this very disturbing.  A Philly man was everything but literaly assaulted after a local "Law Enforcer" spotted a man openly carrying his pistol on his hip.
