The South by Southwest Music and Media Conference and Festival will once again play host to big names in 2013.
Well, now we know how Dave Grohl was planning on spending the Foo Fighers hiatus.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl will join some other famous faces to pay tribute to educators in the new CBS special ‘Teachers Rock.’
He hasn’t announced a release date yet, but Dave Grohl is finished filming his upcoming documentary about Sound City, the Van Nuys recording facility that played host to a long list of platinum artists — including Grohl’s former band Nirvana — before closing its doors in May 2011.

Grohl’s new project is being recorded on the subject of the upcoming documentary — the famous mixing board that used to reside at Sound City Studios, where Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ and Slipknot’s ‘Iowa’ were both recorded.
