CT School Shooting

After the tragic shooting in Newtown, many things went through my mind but one of the first was, “What will the NRA say about this?”  Any time there is massive gun violence in our nation, the NRA is one of the first to comment.  To their credit, the NRA decided to withhold any statement on the shooting to allow family and friends a chance to grieve, something they've been criticized for not doing

Like the rest of the country, Texomans were hit hard by the tragedy that transpired last Friday at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.  The unimaginable incident that claimed the lives of 26 people, including 20 first graders had left many wanting to send condolences and words of encouragement to the small northeastern community.

As has been widely reported, there was a tragic shooting that took place at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school this morning (Dec. 14). According to the latest news reports, at least 27 people were killed, including 18 children.
