When you tune into the local news, you may expect them to report on stories like this, but you definitely don't expect them to BE stories like this.

This is the Marum Crater on Ambrym Island in the Republic of Vanuatu in the South Pacific Ocean. This volcano is very active, very dangerous and, reportedly, no one has ever been this close to the business end of the volcano. But explorers Sam Cossman and George Kourounis wanted to change all of that.

Well, this is something that you just don't expect to see while in a college class. A chemistry professor at Idaho State University was in the middle of teaching a class when a pistol he was carrying in his pocket discharged unexpectedly, KIFI-TV reported. The bullet found a resting spot in his foot. So, he literally shot himself in the foot.

Whales are huge. We are little in comparison. If you ever need a reminder of that, just hop in a kayak and head out into the ocean where whales live. You will probably be reminded pretty quickly of your place in this world, just like these kayakers.

Last week, we talked about a West Michigan story that has since gone viral where a massive party, called Project P, was thrown and thousands of people showed up. Morning commutes are stressful with people rushing to make it to to work, so it's not too often you see folks actually taking the time to help one another. This is one of those times.

While on the beach in The Bahamas, a couple of women were posing for pictures before heading out on a Jet-Ski for a ride. Out of nowhere, another Jet Ski comes cruising into the shot, ramps off the front of the woman's Jet-Ski, flies through the air and crashes on the beach.

Trying to pick up girls may be a daunting task for some. But what about if you were to just straight up ask women if they wanted to have sex with you? It would most likely not go so well and would probably get you slapped. But what if you were to ask hundreds of women? You're bound to get at least one yes, right?
