The ‘We Bought A Zoo’ star says he would have rather had “a one-term President with some balls who actually got stuff done.” (No, why would anyone think Damon actually has a problem with the President?)

In a White House briefing held Friday, President Obama announced the remaining American troops in Iraq will be home by the end of the year, closing a war effort there that has killed more than 4,400 US servicepeople and wounded 32,000 more since 2003.

“After nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over,” the president said.

In a stunning development, President Barack Obama confirmed late Sunday evening that Osama bin Laden, the leader of terrorist group Al-Qaeda responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks, was killed Sunday in Pakistan.

Obama made the announcement in a televised address shortly after 11:30 PM ET, about an hour after reports of bin Laden's death had made their way onto the Internet.
