Stone Sour has unleashed the official music video for their single “Gone Sovereign,” off their album House of Gold and Bones, Part 1. The album comes out on October 23rd, with Part 2 coming out in the spring.

In the video, the band is performing to a crowd of fans, and Corey Taylor has talked about how it all came together:

We put the call out, and I was like, I was joking, and I was like, 'Oh, yeah, one to two thousand kids,' you know. And like, seriously, in the first three hours we had 800 kids sign up. And our director was like, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time! We need a quarter of that.' So we got it down to about 500 kids, and they came from all over the place.

In addition to the two albums, Stone Sour will also be releasing a 4-issue comic book that follows the story of the two albums. It will be published by Dark Horse Comics.
