Stanford Students Make a Self Driving DeLorean [VIDEO]

Happy Back to the Future Day everyone! Get ready for a ton of 'Back to the Future' news all day today. 

Technically, Marty McFly doesn't come to the future until 4:29 pm this afternoon. Remember though, they're in California, so that's 6:29 pm our time. Trust me, I have been overthinking this date for years now. Well with this once in a lifetime date, of course everyone has 'Back to the Future' on their minds.

Some geniuses over at Stanford are designing a self driving car. Hey, if you're going to design a new invention, why not do it in some style, just like Doc Brown would. The students are testing how a self driving car would handle in extreme situations. Hence the car just doing doughnuts. We may not have flying cars this year, but self driving cars are still pretty cool.
