Soil ‘Shine On’ – Crank It or Yank It?

Facebook

After his departure from Drowning Pool back in 2011, Ryan McCombs’ returned to front Chicago’s Soil. The reunion was made complete with the release of Whole back in August.

Now that yet another hurdle has been crossed since his reconciliation with the band he left back in 2004, it’s time to see if Soil can achieve the same kind of radio success with ‘Shine On’ as they saw in the early 00′s with tunes like ‘Halo’ and ‘Unreal’.

As is usually the case with McCombs, the lyrics to ‘Shine On’ are very personal. Speaking to Loudwire, McCombs said the song is about the people who have supported Soil over the years.

Show your support for Soil by voting to ‘crank it’ in the below poll.
