They're not religious or anything, but The Sisters of the Valley seem to be every bit as dedicated as their Catholic counterparts.

Based out of Merced, California, the Sisters were the subject of a recent photo shoot by photographers Shaughn Crawford and John DuBois.

Their mission is to ease the ills of the world through cannabis. All of their products are organic and are used to treat ailments from seizures to migraines, hangovers and a ton of other things.

They've ran into a bit of a stumbling block here lately as the Merced City Council is contemplating a total ban on marijuana cultivation. As a result, The Sisters launched a petition to California governor Jerry Brown to protect medically-grown cannabis in California's fruitful Central Valley.

One of the ways they connect with supporters is through their popular YouTube channel, with videos that detail their process, among other things.

The clip below shows the Sisters harvesting High CBD medicinal cannabis, which is used for making non-psychotropic, healing teas, salves and tinctures.
