Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's Addiction are just two of the acts partnering with Rock Fuel Media to bring the latest innovations in shooting concert films to the fans. Both acts have new DVDs set to arrive June 25.

Smashing Pumpkins' 'Oceania: 3D in NYC' was shot last December at New York's Barclays Arena, where the band performed their 'Oceania' album in its entirety. The group also worked in a fair share of their biggest hits and then added to the experience with an impressive visual show created by Sean Evans that used video-mapping technology. The entire performance was shot in 3D.

Jane's Addiction, meanwhile, teamed with LG Mobile to shoot the film using 3D LG phones. The band utilized at 360-degree stage that allowed for surround sound and panoramic viewing as the group worked through both new and older tracks at New York's Terminal 5. The 'Jane's Addiction: Live in NYC' setlist included 'Been Caught Stealing,' 'Ocean Size,' 'Jane Says' and their more recent single 'Irresistible Force.' While shot using 3D phones, the concert film itself is not in 3D.

Rock Fuel Media founder and President Barry Summers says, "It's a thrilling time in home theater technology. 3D TVs have really taken hold of the marketplace, but there's a lack of live music content for fans to watch at home. We're changing that."

In addition to the June 25 release of both the Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's Addiction DVDs, Rock Fuel is also preparing to bring Korn's recently released 'Live at the Hollywood Palladium' to movie theaters this summer, as well as the upcoming Guns N' Roses' 'Appetite for Democracy in 3D' that was filmed during the band's Las Vegas residency last year.
