Slipknot ‘Custer’ – Crank It or Yank It?

The Knot's latest offering to the Radio Gods is the hard-hitting "Custer".

Even though the single is one of the heavier tracks from Slipknot's latest album, .5: The Gray Chapter, the band chills out a little during the verse, capturing their usual dynamic without any of the melodic elements contained in their last single, "The Devil in I".

The aforementioned single cracked the Top Five before peaking at Number Three. While that's a more than respectable feat, there's nothing like sitting high atop the charts at Numero Uno. Listen to "Custer" and let us know if you think Slipknot have a hit on their hands.
