Slash and Mark Lanegan Team Up for ‘So Long Sin City’
Slash has teamed up with Mark Lanegan (formerly of Queens of the Stone Age and Screaming Trees) and they're saying “So Long Sin City” with a new single. The song was recorded back in 2011 for the film This Is Not A Movie, and is streaming online.
When asked about staying busy, Slash replied:
I definitely feel like I'm cresting a wave in my career where I'm having a really great time, and I love what I'm doing, I love the people I'm working with and I'm feeling very energized. I haven't had that feeling since Guns n' Roses started.
Slash is working on his third solo album, which will be a follow-up to this year's Apocalyptic Love. There's no word yet on when that is expected to be released.
