Shattered Sun Unveil Video for ‘Hope Within Hatred’

The headbangers from that little ol' town of Alice, Texas have released their debut album, Hope Within Hatred, and the video for the song of the same name.

The video mixes performance footage of the band mixed with scenes of a desperate man who is embroiled in a battle with the bottle.

The impact of Shattered Sun's debut album was felt prior to the release when Loudwire readers voted the album as the most anticipated release of April, beating out established bands like Halestorm, 10 Years and Apocalyptica.

In addition to that honor, the band landed the opening slot for the "Dark Roots of Thrash II" tour featuring Thrash Metal legends Testament and Exodus. Shattered Sun will also be a part of this year's installment of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, which is scheduled to roll through Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas on Sunday, August 2.
