Seether are building up to the Oct. 29 release date of their two-disc collection of hits and rarities, 'Seether 2002-2013,' and Loudwire is exclusively streaming one of the compilation's rarities, 'Blister,' a song that was originally intended as a B-side for the 2005 album 'Karma and Effect' but was never officially released.

The addition of 'Blister' as well as several other rarities, B-sides and new songs to the collection was key for Seether. Bassist Dale Stewart recently told Loudwire, "We didn't just want to release like a 'best of' kind of thing because probably 9 out of 10 people who are going to buy it probably own the music that we are trying to sell them again and we didn't want to do that. So as a band we thought, 'Let's make it worthwhile for people to buy and add stuff that they might have never heard before or put on a couple of new songs.'"

The song itself is a dark and bluesy track that showcases Shaun Morgan emotional vocal work. Stewart adds about the cut, “I'm glad ‘Blister’ is getting some time in the sun. I have always really enjoyed the song and particularly the lyrics. It tends to grow on you slowly, or perhaps like a blister slowly gets under your skin. Slightly less painful though (hopefully).”

While 'Blister' has made its way to the Internet in the past, the final mix of the song can be heard below, as it appears on the 'Seether 2002-2013' collection. And we have another treat for you as you can enter to win a copy of the CD along with a Seether t-shirt. Simply retweet the announcement posted in the button below the song clip and follow both @Loudwire and @SeetherOfficial on Twitter. This contest ends Friday, Nov. 1 at 11:59PM ET. You can also pre-order the hits collection at the band's website or on iTunes.
