Both Seether and Five Finger Death Punch want you to not kill yourself. But they want you to not kill yourself separately. See they’re doing anti-suicide campaigns and events that are completely separate from each other, but obviously have the same goal of people not killing themselves.

Seether is actually doing a whole fest for their don’t kill yourself campaign. It’s called the “Rise Above Fest” and will feature Seether plus Buckcherry, Puddle Of Mudd, Black Stone Cherry and Otherwise. But its in New Hampshire so you’re probably not going to make it. Here’s there video for it.

Some of you will remember that Shaun Morgan’s own brother killed himself 5 years ago so this is a very personal venture for him.

Meanwhile, Five Finger Death Punch is launching a new anti-suicide initiative tied to the release of its upcoming music video for current single “Coming Down. Five Finger Death Punch is promoting the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, you can call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or go to www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org.
