Apparently, panda sex is a big thing for scientist and that's not any kind of sexual innuendo. We're talking straight-up panda-on-panda action.

Scientist in China are celebrating after successfully mating two giant pandas, something that can often be a problem for pandas in captivity.

Not only was the mating session a huge success, but they also managed to break the record for longest mating session ever recorded among pandas.

All the honors go to Mr. Lu Lu the panda of course, who lasted a breathtaking 18 minutes and three seconds after he originally set the record at eight minutes with a different female panda only hours before.

You have to admit that Lu Lu's got some game.

The mating session was broadcast on the China Network Television's iPanda website and came as a big relief for scientist since only 1,864 giant panda are left in the world according to a recent census.
