It's the news that Joey Jordison fans have been anxiously waiting for! Jordison's brand-new act Scar the Martyr are streaming their debut self-titled album in full right now.

Scar the Martyr boast an all-star roster of musicians. Along with Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison, the recording lineup of Scar the Martyr is comprised of former Strapping Young Lad guitarist Jed Simon, former Darkest Hour guitarist Kris Norris, ex-Nine Inch Nails drummer Chris Vrenna on keyboards and Lilitu vocalist Henry Derek.

We were lucky enough to exclusively bring you Scar the Martyr's music video for 'Blood Host,' but now the band's eponymous debut is available to digest in its entirety via the group's official website.

Full Metal Jackie recently interviewed Jordison, asking the drummer about the development of Scar the Martyr and what became important creatively as new songs began to develop:

I wanted to know and work on the different influences I’ve had from the post-punk movement, and meshing that with a lot of droning tones, as well, that I’ve never experimented with. I wanted it to be really hypnotic, but in a vocal sense I wanted it to have a lot of melody, especially chorus. I wanted to encompass all the heavy stuff too, but I wanted it sounding completely unique.
