Rusty Wallace and Marbles – Humane Society Pets of the Week!
Let’s face it – cleaning up after your pets isn’t a fun job. I often wonder how a small creature can create such a big mess, whether it’s cleaning the litter box, sweeping up the kibble that has been spilled on the floor, or being tasked with vomit patrol. It’s a messy job but someone has to do it. I love my pets so I do it all, but some pets don’t have someone to love them and clean up their messes. That’s where you come in.
The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for a lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.
May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.
Rusty Wallace is a small, male, Chihuahua/short coat mix. He’s three-years-old, is a bit shy at first, but loves being around people and will be forever loyal once he gets to know you. He likes taking walks and playing games like fetch, and enjoys ending the day on a warm lap. He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Rusty Wallace can’t wait to find his new forever home and would love to get to know you. Swing by to meet him today!
Marbles is a medium size, male, grey and white short hair cat. He’s only a year old so he has plenty of energy to play, but he really likes sitting in a lap and getting petted. He’s a “lovey” cat that warms up quickly, and would make a great addition to just about any household. He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Marbles would love to find a new place to explore and new people to meet, so stop by to introduce yourself!
