This guy turned down an offer to be one of the highest paid players in rugby, to go live his dream of playing in the NFL.

I heard about Jarryd Hayne before the season started. He played for a rugby team in Australia called the Parramatta Eels. I don't know a lot about rugby, other than what the Midwestern State team does. I try to follow it, but it just seems like chaos out there on a rugby field. Jarryd turned down a massive contract, by rugby standards, to come play in the NFL.

The San Francisco 49ers gave him a shot and he made the preseason roster. Well, the Dallas Cowboys took on the San Francisco 49ers last night. I finally got to see some of this guys moves. Turns out, he's pretty good at running through people. As most would expect with any rugby player.

He was in on punt return and as running back later in the game. He did pretty good, if I had to call it, I am going to say the 49ers are going to keep him. Does this mean we could see an influx of rugby players to the NFL? Maybe, I am actually shocked no team has not picked up some sumo wrestlers for a goal line offensive line. Yeah, I stole that from the movie 'The Replacements', still think it's a good idea though.
